Since 2011, the Dalan Art Gallery in Yerevan has promoted the work of 26 talented contemporary artists of the post-Soviet period. These artists are given the space to exhibit in Yerevan, but are also given the opportunity to reach worldwide collectors, museums and galleries. What is striking in all their artworks is the constant struggle of these artists to understand their past in relation to today’s world, and represent it through the means of visual arts.
Dalan Art Gallery became one of the most busy and vivid art platforms in the city, exhibiting both established and emerging artists. Located in the heart of the city, it attracts not only local citizens, but tourists too. So, it is the most visited place, where during the year there are more than 30 exhibits, local and international, group and solo.
